Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation
The Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP) and its Steering Committee members, the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and the World Bank, has accepted the Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation as a GGKP Knowledge Partner
The GGKP is a global partnership of leading international organisations, research institutes and think tanks focused on:
i) identifying major knowledge gaps in green growth theory and practice and addressing those gaps by promoting collaboration and coordinated research; and
ii) using world-class knowledge management and communications tools to give practitioners and policymakers the analysis, guidance, information and data necessary to support a green economy transition.
Knowledge Partners of the GGKP constitute a network of institutions interested in regular exchanges
about their respective work programs in the green growth space and, when mutually beneficial,
collaboration on research and knowledge sharing activities. Knowledge Partners are also instrumental in
fostering a green growth community of practice through contributions to the GGKP web platform,
www.greengrowthknowledge.org, and other outreach activities.
Given ICCA’s diversified team of experts, strong emphasis on action-oriented research and focus on
national and regional policy formulation and implementation in the field of green growth, the institute will undoubtedly be a valuable partner and serve as a leading contributor to the GGKP’s
active green growth knowledge generation and sharing efforts.
