The Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation is hosting a Seminar on Integrated Planning for Climate Change and Air Pollution Mitigation in Kenya: Toward Vision 2030 and the Paris Agreement.

The Chief Guest will be the Principal Secretary Ministry of Environment and Forestry Mr. Charles Sunkuli. The Prinical of the College of Biological and Physical Sciences Prof. Benard Aduda will also be in attendance.

Development corridors have tremendous potential to support economic growth in Africa, yet face significant challenges including positive and negative development impacts, traversing so-called “under-utilised” lands, vulnerability to climate change, and lack of appropriate research capacity in the region.
