  2. Help the students adjust to the new life at the University
  3. Introduce the students to senior officials of the University
  4. Familiarize the students with the facilities and amenities available at the University.

To start off the Orientation Week, the University organized virtual students address by The Deputy Vice Chancellor's Academic Affairs, Prof. Julius Ogeng'o, the Academic Registrar, Mr. Humphrey Webuye, and Director ICT, Mr. Paul Kariuki. This virtual address was held on Monday, 31st August 2020 at 9 am on the Microsoft Teams video conference platform.
