The College, commonly known as Chiromo Campus, is located on more than 70 acres of land along Riverside Drive off Chiromo Road, 2 kilometres west of the Main Campus. It offers a diverse range of academic programmes in several academic units namely; School of Biological Sciences, School of Computing and Informatics, School of Mathematics, School of Physical Sciences, Institute of Climate Change and Adaptation (ICCA) recently (Dec. 2011) approved by Senate, and Centre for Biotechnology & Bioinformatics (CEBIB).

Chiromo Library is the College of Biological and Physical Sciences (CBPS) library.  It is about 2 KM from the Nairobi Central Business District off Riverside Drive and near the old Chiromo Mortuary. It has a sitting capacity of 700 and 12 Study carrels for graduate students and researchers.  It stocks approximately 100,000 hard copy books and bound journals. In addition, it has access to over 70,000 e-books and 50,000 e-journals.
